Have you ever done a mixtape before? If yes – when was the first time and for which person? If not – why not and for which person would you do one?
I have! I made one for a girl who was going on a 13 hour flight (i kinda really liked her). So i made her like a super long playlist on Spotify with a bunch of different music on. Everything from Kings of convenience to skrillex.
Which format would you prefer for your mixtape: Cassette, CD, digital playlist?
I would do it on cassette just to fulfill my dream as a romantic hollywood-director, but I’m probably to lazy and would end up doing it digitally.
Insider tips that the listener won’t know or mainstream hits?
Definitely a good mixture of both. Super hipster and not, well, too hipster.
Sad/emotional or dance/party songs?
Depends what mood i´m in i guess.
Listing songs one after the other or planning a tonal climax?
I suck at listening to music. I tend to skip after i´ve heard two minutes, so i´d go for song by song.
About the cover: self painted, a picture stolen from the internet or a simple set-list?
Hmmm, this one is tricky. Maybe steal a picture, modify it by my self and put a set list on there? Why not do it all.
