Mixtaping by Strangers – Vol 6 – Alice Jemima

Have you ever done a mixtape before? If yes – when was the first time and for which person? If not – why not and for which person would you do one?
I have, for my family. They wanted some new music to listen to around the house… But I haven’t made one for awhile!

Which format would you prefer for your mixtape: Cassette, CD, digital playlist?
I’d probably go with CD. I’m always making playlists on Spotify, iTunes etc, but it’s nice to have something physical. Cassettes are cool too, but I’d be limited with places to play that now!

Insider tips that the listener won’t know or mainstream hits?
Oh, hopefully there’s something new in there for the listener! Maybe a mixture of both.

Sad/emotional or dance/party songs?
Emotional dance songs!?

Listing songs one after the other or planning a tonal climax?
Um… I think song after song, but mix it up a bit!?

About the cover: self painted, a picture stolen from the internet or a simple set-list?
Either a list, or a personal funny photo – depending on who it’s for.

If you could choose an artist/band, who should do a mixtape for you – which one would it be and why?
The xx… because I’m a big fan, and that’d be cool.
